Glad you're here! I'm the Head of Engineering here at Pixieset, and I would love for you to join our team.
My journey with Pixieset started over 10 years ago, when we were a small, but humble team of 3. I truly believe that Pixieset is the best place to work, and I'm proud to lead a team of 100+ talented engineers who've contributed immensely to Pixieset's growth and success.
Our goal is to become the household name for modern photographers, who want to run the entirety of their photography business online. Being a former photographer, and a technologist at heart, I know that our easy-to-use and beautifully designed platform is an indispensable tool in the photography and creative community. Our engineers are tackling challenging, yet realistic and tangible problems, that make an impact on our users every day.

I enjoy solving problems and collaborating with my colleagues to come up with unique solutions to everyday challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with great minds and learn a thing or two from everyone whose life has crossed mine. I enjoy enabling my engineers to reach their career goals, and I consider mentorship very important. I strive to create a team that can tackle any problem with calm and ease. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and both playing and watching soccer.

Senior Manager, Engineering
I’m thrilled to be a member of the Pixieset management team! My experience includes 8 years of full stack development and 7 years of engineering management. I’m passionate about leading high-performing teams, with an emphasis on high engagement and friendly collaboration. I see myself somewhat as a coach, striving every day to put my engineering teams in a position to win. In my free time, I like to play sports including table tennis, golf, volleyball, tennis, and ice hockey!

Over the past 10+ years as an engineer, lead, engineering manager, and product manager, I’ve gained a true passion for innovation and pushing technological limits. I'm self-motivated, hard-working, and very team-focused - taking the initiative to help out my team wherever possible. When not at work, I'm generally introducing web developments to challenged teens, managing and coaching cricket teams, hiking, cycling, running, playing tennis, golfing, and watching Canucks games (I’m a lifelong fan).

I’m incredibly passionate about software quality and fostering a culture of improvement. I’ve led QA and Engineering teams across the globe for over a decade and I’m immensely enjoying working with a kind, intelligent, and collaborative team here at Pixieset. We’re always striving to improve the software we’re delivering - Through quality of our testing, refining our QA team, collaborating with development teams, and seeking new efficiencies. The people and interesting challenges make Pixieset an amazing place to spend my 9-5. Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my family or refereeing rugby.

I'm a passionate technology enthusiast with a project/product management background, born and raised in Moldova - The country of grapes and the best wine in the world! I’ve spent the last 10 years gaining industry experience, building amazing products, traveling, and collaborating with international teams from the USA, Netherlands, and Latin America. Outside of work, I love playing sports, learning Spanish, driving, reading, and making new connections to better understand different perspectives.

To me, great engineering leadership is about aligning technical excellence with business outcomes and an environment where engineers feel empowered and inspired. I deeply value mentorship and open collaboration - I'm always interested in conversations about engineering strategy, leadership growth, or even just brainstorming better ways to solve complex problems. Outside work, you’ll probably find me playing soccer, hiking beautiful BC trails, or hosting dinner parties for friends and family.

With years of experience in diverse environments - from rigorous, process-heavy setups in mission-critical systems to more relaxed research and development settings, I find Pixieset to be that perfect balance of collaboration and support, coupled with just enough process to ensure success. Our culture prioritizes individual growth and career development, emphasizing a unified team approach that consistently delivers top-notch products to our millions of satisfied users. Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family; on weekends, you'll often find us enjoying a long walk along the seawall.

By championing a collaborative environment, I empower teams to leverage their unique strengths, creating products and solutions that truly resonate with our users while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in engineering. In my spare time, I enjoy building model kits, travelling, and photography as a hobby.

Great engineering organizations are built on candid communication, strong relationships, and a relentless focus on outcomes. Throughout my career, I’ve built and scaled teams while maintaining a high performance bar, led organizations through periods of uncertainty, and developed processes that became part of company culture. A colleague once said, “If you’re going into battle, you want Tracy by your side.” I take pride in getting things done, solving the right problems, and making sure teams are set up to succeed. Outside of work, I love being outdoors - playing and coaching soccer, biking, hiking, and skiing with my family.

I’m a pragmatic technology leader with 20+ years of experience across a range of industries and disciplines. I’m passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering clean, simple, and elegant software solutions that create meaningful value. Starting my career as a software developer, I developed a deep appreciation for the craft and the importance of balancing technical excellence with practical business outcomes. I strongly believe in continuous improvement, iterative development, and building on MVP foundations to deliver steady, impactful enhancements as products evolve. Outside of work, I coach youth baseball and hockey, and enjoy mountain biking in the beautiful North Shore mountains.
